Gabriel Arancibia

Gabriel works as an associate attorney in the corporate area, where he has focused his practice on advising domestic and foreign clients on contractual and general corporate matters, M&A, banking and finance, securities market and foreign investment. He has extensive experience in public procurement processes, as well as on corporate and financing matters to B Corporations, foundations, NGOs and pro bono clients.

He has specialized in green and sustainable finance, responsible and impact investments, credits and issuance of sustainable financial instruments and ESG matters on financial markets.

He has experience in title due diligence for the purchase of land for agricultural projects of private equity agriculture funds. He has also experience in solar PV energy projects from the standpoint of service agreements with project suppliers and title due diligence in relation to the land for the project.

Previously he worked in the corporate area at Alessandri between 2015 and 2019 and at Barros & Cía Abogados between 2011 and 2014.

In 2019, he was an intern at Australian Unity, Melbourne, for the analysis of the legal and regulatory impacts of the Banking and Financial Services Industry Royal Commission, in relation to the Banking Codes of Conduct.

Gabriel is a member of the Chilean Bar Association and a member of the Chilean Australian Chamber’s Legal and Finance Committee and Sustainability Committee.


Co-author of the articles “The Public Procurement Market: another alternative for Australian companies in Chile”, Chapter One (14-16, 34th Edition) and Chapter Two (12-13, 35th Edition) of the Chile Australia Chamber of Commerce Magazine, Santiago, Chile.
