Francisco Acuña is a director of Alessandri Energy and Environment. He has 18 years of experience in developing environmental projects, including environmental impact studies and declarations, environmental risk audits, management of environmental liabilities and hazardous wastes, and in the design of urban and industrial liquid and solid waste treatment plants. He has participated in over 10 projects of the Kyoto protocol Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) and has successfully placed over one million tons of CO2 (carbon credits) of various Chilean CDM projects on the international market, which have been purchased by Japanese, European and North American clients.
