Rodrigo Urzúa is partner in Alessandri since 2018, and has more than 13 years of exercise in litigation, arbitration and dispute resolution practice. Has successfully participated in several conflicts of important connotations at the national level in civil and commercial matters. Plus, he has a vast knowledge in matters of  engineering and construction matters.

Rodrigo is recognized for his analytical capability  and attention to detail, to allow expose in a simple and persuasive way the central arguments in each dispute and maximize the chances of success.

Before joining to Alessandri in 2018, he was a founding partner Halpern de la Fuente, lead the litigation and arbitration practice of the projects area. Previously, he was a lawyer in the studies Bofill Mir & Álvarez Jana (2006 to 2015) and Cariola Díez Pérez – Cotapos (2002 to 2006), where he was part of litigation, arbitration and dispute resolution areas.

Rodrigo was assistant professor for the Department of Private Law of the Universidad de Chile (2002 to 2006), assignetd to the professorship of professor Carlos Peña, and, since 2009 to 2016, was professor in procedural and litigation at Law and Humanities School in the Universidad Mayor ( headquarters in Santiago).

Is a member of the Chilean Bar Association and Public Liberties (Libertades Públicas A.G.)
