Rebaja en las tarifas de publicación de solicitudes de marcas y patentes

Desde que se realizó el traspaso del Diario Oficial al Ministerio del Interior y Seguridad Pública, el 26 de agosto de 2013, éste determinó ofrecer tarifas más económicas a los usuarios que necesiten hacer una publicación.

Como resultado, las tarifas se han reducido en un 45%. Esta rebaja se extiende a la publicación de extractos de todas las solicitudes de derechos de propiedad industrial.

El pago y revisión de los extractos de marcas puede hacerse en línea, ingresando a www.inapi.cl, Trámites y Servicios, para seleccionar "Solicitud de Publicación en el Diario Oficial". Adicionalmente puede ser revisado en el sitio web del Diario Oficial, http://www.diariooficial.cl/

Este beneficio otorgado por el Diario Oficial impacta en el costo total de registro de una marca y complementa los permanentes esfuerzos que realiza el Instituto Nacional de Propiedad Industrial - INAPI - para facilitar el acceso a los derechos de propiedad industrial y brindar así, un mejor servicio a sus usuarios.

Trademark and patent application publication fees cut down

Since the transfer of the Official Gazette to the Ministry of the Interior and Public Security, on August 26, 2013, this government office decided to offer more reasonable fees to users needing to make a publication.

As a result, fee rates have dropped by 45%. This reduction applies to the publication of abstracts of by industrial property rights publication

Payment and review of trademark abstracts may be carried online, at www.inapi.cl, Processing and Services, to select "Application for Publication in the Official Gazette". Same information may also be reviewed at the Official Gazette's website, http://www.diariooficial.cl

This Official Gazette benefit has a positive effect on the total cost of registering a trademark and supplements the permanent efforts made by Instituto Nacional de Propiedad Industrial - INAPI - to facilitate access to industrial property rights and, thus, better serve its users.
